As a result of some power/charging problems with the old(?) 5455, I now find myself with a new 5555.....which leaves working with a WM2003 device now.
Would I be safe in restoring PIM databases created via backup on the 5455 to the new 5555? Have there been any underlying db schema changes to the PIM db's for WM2003 that would make this unsafe to do?
The reason I'm considering this is because I only have half a brain.
Before I did a hard reset on the 5455 and returned it to CompUSA, I did do a full backup, but neglected to sync with the desktop. As I know I had made changes on the PPC that hadn't been synced to the desktop, my most current data is now in the backup file.
