3) I think you should buy an SD card. These cards will be able to have larger capacity, and then you can store more fun stuff like music, movies, etc.
4) Go ahead and do a forum search for "essential software" or "favorite software" or "software you can't do without" as there have been a lot of threads answering that exact question. And you can check out
PocketPCFreewares for a lot of free software.
