I have a Sony laptop with built in 802.11b, and a 5455. I have successfully established an AdHoc (peer-to-peer) connection between the two units ... but I am having some trouble getting active sync to see the machine on the other end. Before I go further trying to make it work I was wondering if it was even possible.

Thanks
Drew
Yes, it's possible. I didn't have to do anything special to get ActiveSync to work. Once the ad-hoc connection was in place, everything was fine.

One word of note though, just because you have a signal between the two machines with a network icon showing the connection as active, DOESN'T necessarily mean you have a successfully functioning ad-hoc connection (I know it sounds strange).

Quick question before I go on: have you been able to map your laptop drives onto your PPC? If not, try to do so and let me know.
