Great tip. I knew about most of this, but had forgotten to turn the New menu back on after installing EUU2. :-( The one thing I didn't know was that the application's templates showed above the menu separator.

There is one minor detail that you didn't cover. While your tip about saving a document to the \My Documents\Templates folder will work for Pocket Word and Notes, it will not work for Pocket Excel.

To create a template in Pocket Excel, you have to save the document to the Templates folder with a .pxt extension. From Excel, you can use the Tools/Save Workbook As... command to do that. Any .pxl files in the Templates folder will not be shown in the New menu as templates for some reason, nor will any .pxt files in the My Documents folder show in the New menu as templates.
