Not that you need my input but I think you will find that the VBullentin choice will work out for the best. Not sure if you ever visited Mobile Minds (the old Pocket PC Minds) once we migrated it to the one site. But to my point we found some great tools for doing exactly what you are talking about. There are several CMS systems that can be easily customized that you can also get VBullentin integration.
Like I said though, I sure you already heard this from Fabrizio. Anyway keep up the great sites.
