Well, the 3000 certainly isn't as "disposable" as most consumer-grade printers are nowadays, but I have to wonder how much it will cost to repair once you factor in shipping + repair tech time. It's also a bit of an older printer, so perhaps that money would be best spent getting something more modern.

Myself, I'd probably go for a Canon i9100:
