During my lunch break today I was sitting around browsing the Internet and watching some streaming Divx videos on one of my favorite sites,
Stage6. If you have never been to Stage6 before the best way to describe it would be YouTube for Divx users. I do not know how it happened, or why it happened, but somehow I got thrown to a sub-domain of Divx.com for mobile devices. Being the nosey person I was, I started browsing around and low and behold, I found out that Divx had quietly released a version of their Divx Player, dubbed Divx Mobile Player, onto the internet! The best part of this delicious find is that this program is 100% free!
If you are a Divx/Xvid user and would like to enjoy your media on the go without paying the outrageous price of most media players out there, then go check out
Divx Mobile Player. You do have to sign up for a Stage6 account to download the application but I feel it is a small price to pay for such a juicy little gem! The program is still in release candidate phase, but so far I have been able to enjoy a couple of old Family Guy episodes I had laying around on my memory card as if I was watching them on my computer!
