Default Duplicate emails

This could be the problem:

If you have the phone configured for Push Email with Exchange then go into the ActiveSync properties and ensure that email is disabled for ActiveSync. What is happening I think is that he sends an email. It goes via the Exchange server and holds it for the ActiveSync connection. He connects and the phone sends the message that way. If both are enabled for email then the phone sends the message both ways.

Hope it helps and I did not confuse you to much. If so I will answer when I get home and can look at ActiveSync itself. I am typing from memory.
