Did you confirm that TCPMP and FFMPEG work well with the BBC video podcast? There are two types of video encoding called "MPEG4" called "Part 2" and "Part 10".
FFMPEG plays both Part 2 video and Part 10 video, but plays Part 10 (also called H.264) slowly and choppy.

It is my understanding that CorePlayer plays H.264 better than FFMPEG, but I have not tested this yet.
If you point me to the BBC podcast URL that you are asking about, I'll load it up in FeederReader and see if it plays with TCPMP and what "part" mp4 it is.
