I totally agree that the reason for lack of Smartphone sales is indeed because of the lack of quality apps to buy. I have 100's of dollars of Smartphone apps on my pc and only the top notch portion of those on my phone. Give me something to buy...and I'll buy it. Keep releasing bluetooth togglers for $10 when I already have a freeware version that does the same exact thing...and Handango nor the developer wont see their Smartphone sales rising.
How many tip calculators, $3.00 homescreens, video converters, homescreen creators do you want us to buy. Do we really need dozens of each?
I keep trying PPCs because I want the plethera of software available for it. But I keep returning to the Smartphone because I like the form better. The comparable core apps are there and work exactly like their PPC counterparts....but PLEASE give me software that I JUST HAVE TO HAVE! Whether I knew it yesterday or not.

BTW...It's nice to see someone actually reporting events and discussions at the conference rather than just returning with a disclaimer that you're "not allowed to discuss anything but here are some pics of us drinking and the stuff we got!" Nice Job.
